Hypoxia
A shortage of oxygen in tissue — the problem HBOT aims to correct.
Hypoxia is inadequate oxygen supply to tissue. Chronic wounds, radiation injury, and compromised grafts are fundamentally hypoxic — HBOT works by temporarily flooding these tissues with oxygen and stimulating lasting improvements in supply.
