Air break
A scheduled pause breathing normal air during a session to prevent oxygen toxicity.
An air break is a short interval, usually 5 minutes, during which a patient breathes normal air instead of oxygen. Scheduled air breaks reduce the risk of CNS oxygen toxicity during longer or higher-pressure treatments.
