Marx protocol
The staged HBOT-and-surgery approach for osteoradionecrosis of the jaw.
The Marx protocol, developed by Dr. Robert Marx, combines hyperbaric oxygen with staged surgery to treat and prevent osteoradionecrosis of the jaw after radiation. It remains the standard framework for managing this complication.
