Most first-time patients tell us the same thing afterward: "That was it?" Here is the full experience so nothing surprises you.
Before you arrive
Wear comfortable cotton clothing. Leave lighters, electronics, and anything battery-powered at home — for fire-safety reasons, nothing that can spark enters the chamber. No perfumes or petroleum-based lotions on treatment days.
The first ten minutes
You will recline on a comfortable stretcher that slides into the chamber. As compression begins, you will feel pressure in your ears — exactly like a plane descending. Your technician stays with you the entire time and coaches you to "clear" your ears by swallowing or yawning. This phase takes about ten minutes, and it is the only part of the session you will really notice.
The next 60–90 minutes
Nothing. Genuinely. You breathe normally, watch a movie through the clear acrylic wall, listen to music, or nap. Many of our regulars call it the most relaxing part of their week.
Coming back up
Decompression is gentler than descent — a few minutes of your ears "opening" and you are done. Most people drive themselves home and go about their day.
What about results?
Honest answer: almost nobody feels different after one session. HBOT works cumulatively — the vessel growth and tissue repair build across a course of 10–40 sessions depending on your condition. We track your progress objectively and show you the data as you go.
Questions about your situation?
Free consultation, honest answer — even if the answer is "not HBOT."
