Not all chambers
are created equal.

"Hyperbaric chamber" covers everything from hospital-grade vessels to inflatable bags sold online. The pressure difference isn't a detail — it's the entire therapy.

CLINICAL · WHAT WE USE

Monoplace

Up to 3.0 ATA · one patient

A clear acrylic vessel pressurized with 100% oxygen. Private, comfortable, and fully clinical — the workhorse of outpatient HBOT. You can watch a film through the wall.

Best for: nearly all outpatient indications.

CLINICAL · WHAT WE USE

Multiplace

Up to 6.0 ATA · multiple patients

A walk-in room pressurized with air while patients breathe oxygen through hoods. An attendant can sit with you inside — ideal for anxious patients, children, and critical care.

Best for: emergencies, dive medicine, attended care.

WELLNESS · KNOW THE DIFFERENCE

Soft-sided ("mild")

1.3 ATA max · compressed air

Inflatable chambers reaching only 1.3 ATA, usually on air rather than oxygen. That's a fraction of the clinical dose — fine as a wellness product, but not equivalent to medical HBOT, whatever the marketing says.

Best for: knowing what you're actually buying.
